Description
Vertical-moving spot welders, equipped with digital control panels and high-speed pneumatic systems, are ideal for welding nuts of sizes M6, M5, and M4, as well as general spot welding applications. These welders feature a 40-centimeter console.
Stationary spot welders belong to the resistance welding family. In this welding technique, a weld is created by generating heat through the passage of high current over a short period, joining pieces together at specific points. The weld zone is the surface where the electrode is placed, and current passes through it under pressure. The total electrical resistance at the contact point of the metals involved includes the contact resistance between the electrodes and the workpiece, between the two workpieces, and the electrical resistance of the workpiece itself. When the welding current is applied, microscopic protrusions on the surfaces of the two workpieces heat up due to current concentration, and then the material adjacent to these points melts. Spot welding electrodes are typically made of copper alloys with high thermal conductivity.

Additional Notes:
- This type of stationary spot welder, also known as a pedal or sinusoidal spot welder, is typically not used for producing parts that require standard resistance welding safety tests.
- The transformer calculations for these machines are based on air cooling and are suitable for continuous operation.
- To maintain efficiency, the arms, tips, and electrodes have a water circulation circuit.
- All models in this product family can be operated with a two-phase 380-volt power supply and a minimum current of 25 amperes.
