SP Series Spot Welding Machine

20 KVA spot welding machine, “our first company product” with a history of efficient production and supply to the market since 1976, is well-known in the Iran market and perfectly meets the customer’s needs in the industry.

Description

Vertical-moving spot welders, equipped with digital control panels and high-speed pneumatic systems, are ideal for welding nuts of sizes M6, M5, and M4, as well as general spot welding applications. These welders feature a 40-centimeter console.

Stationary spot welders belong to the resistance welding family. In this welding technique, a weld is created by generating heat through the passage of high current over a short period, joining pieces together at specific points. The weld zone is the surface where the electrode is placed, and current passes through it under pressure. The total electrical resistance at the contact point of the metals involved includes the contact resistance between the electrodes and the workpiece, between the two workpieces, and the electrical resistance of the workpiece itself. When the welding current is applied, microscopic protrusions on the surfaces of the two workpieces heat up due to current concentration, and then the material adjacent to these points melts. Spot welding electrodes are typically made of copper alloys with high thermal conductivity.

Options:

  • Pneumatic system installation (including air cylinder, solenoid valve, and air treatment unit)
  • Speed control installation and all necessary hoses and fittings
  • Analog or digital welding control timer
  • Heat sink, thyristor, and power switch package
  • Long arms up to 1 meter in length with water cooling
  • Design and manufacturing of custom-shaped holders and electrodes for various parts

Standard Components and Accessories:

  • Fully mechanical base
  • Transformer
  • Industrial body and arms
  • Holders and electrodes
  • Time switch and spring-loaded movement system

Applications of SP Series Spot Welding Machine:

  • Various service and manufacturing industries
  • Wire industries
  • Cabinet making
  • Kitchen appliances
  • Ductwork and air conditioner spiral manufacturing
  • Lampshade and lighting industries

Additional Notes:

  • This type of stationary spot welder, also known as a pedal or sinusoidal spot welder, is typically not used for producing parts that require standard resistance welding safety tests.
  • The transformer calculations for these machines are based on air cooling and are suitable for continuous operation.
  • To maintain efficiency, the arms, tips, and electrodes have a water circulation circuit.
  • All models in this product family can be operated with a two-phase 380-volt power supply and a minimum current of 25 amperes.
