The vertical-motion spot welding machines are equipped with a digital control panel and a high-speed pneumatic operating system, making them suitable for welding M6, M5, and M4 nuts as well as spot welding applications.

The welding zone is the area where the electrode contacts the workpiece and electrical current passes through the material under pressure. In general, the electrical contact resistance between the electrodes includes the contact resistance between the electrodes and workpiece, between the two workpieces, and the electrical resistance of the workpieces themselves.
When welding current is applied, the microscopic contact points on the surfaces of the two workpieces heat up first due to current concentration, followed by the surrounding material.
